I’m an illustrator based in Edinburgh, specialising in wildlife art and pet portraits. I finished studying illustration in 2019 where I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelors Degree with Honours. I find inspiration from animal facts I learn and express them through my work. My technique consists of portraying animal features convincingly, whilst having a specific atmosphere that highlights the animals qualities. I do this with the texture building techniques I’ve developed, combined with intense detail, together creating the desired effect. As well as wildlife art, over the last few years I have been creating art based on some of my favourite characters from different avenues of pop culture, including novels, movies and video games. I do this to highlight my love for the characters that helped shape my love for storytelling and to add my own artistic style to these characters.
