Hi! I'm Ruth, the designer and maker behind made by ruu. I am an Edinburgh based artist/maker creating unique and colourful Polymer Clay Jewellery. Whether you love giant "Pat Butchers" or simple studs I believe they should be comfortable to wear all day long. With this in mind I use earring findings suitable for sensitive ears and Polymer Clay is incredible durable but lightweight making it a perfect medium. I love to draw inspiration for my work from vintage fashions and interiors especially the 60's and 70's love of big bold colour and pattern. Overall I love to create colourful, wearable pieces to add a pop of fun and show off your style.
