Meet the maker
Annie Du Pom
I started Pomming last summer during the first lockdown.
It was a great way to keep my hands busy and get stuck into something creative.
I’ve always been quite crafty but never stuck to one thing and it wasn’t long until I realised it was the Pom-Life for me!
I’ve always been a sucker for anything bright and colourful so once I discovered neon wool there was no stopping me!
I started off making colourful wreaths which would hold up to 70 Poms but as they do take me some time to make, I’ve focused more on ‘fewer pom’ items this year like earrings, hair clips and my (ever so popular!) PomPom Headbands.
It’s been great getting to try out new styles of Poms and colour combos.
I’ve loved my Pom-Journey so far and had some great experiences from trading out of a phone box on Brighton seafront (where I’m based) to making over 400 POMS (!!) for a cushion cover commission.
I’m excited for the rest of this journey and would love for you to join me! There’s plenty more Pom-Action to come (though maybe not in cushion form)
