I’m a self taught Jewellery Designer, I was born in France and moved to Scotland in 1999. After the birth of my first child I started playing about with beads and wire wrapping. More recently (about a year ago or so), I started collecting seaglass to make unique Jewellery. It’s very addictive, you can usually find me, my 2 boys and my dog Ninja along the East Lothian coast looking for those beach treasures. I have a little desk at home where all my work is created. If you’re wondering where Althenia comes from, it’s an anagram of Nathalie.
